- Add an account. Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account. On older iPhones: Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account.
- Choose Other. Migadu hosts our email, and it is not one of Apple’s listed providers. Do not choose Google or Outlook. On some versions, the option is called Add Other Account. If your iPhone asks for your email first, enter your work address and tap Next.
- Tap Add Mail Account. Some versions simply call it Mail Account.
- Enter your details. Use your full work email address in all three fields: Name, Email, and Description. Enter your mailbox password in Password, then tap Next. Use your own assigned address, not the example.
- Select IMAP and fill in Incoming Mail Server.

Fill in every field—even those labeled Optional. The outgoing login is required to send mail.
- Save Mail only. Tap Next and wait for verification. Leave Mail on and turn Notes off. If any other switches appear, leave only Mail enabled. Tap Save.
- Open Mail and test. Open Mail → Mailboxes and select the mailbox labeled with your full work email address. Send a test message from that address and get a reply.

Receiving works but sending fails? Check the outgoing server’s username and password first.
Apple Mail normally detects ports and security. If manual settings are needed: IMAP 993 with SSL/TLS; SMTP 465 with SSL/TLS; password authentication for both. Do not disable encryption or accept an unexpected certificate warning. Ask your team administrator if verification still fails.
If webmail rejects the password too, ask your team administrator to verify or reset your mailbox password.
